Need creative course to complement diploma in Marketing

I have a National 3yr Diploma in Marketing from P.E. Technikon -Now[NMMU]I want to venture into media/ creative industry, mostly want to use my writing ability, would like to know the relevance of my current qualification to the targeted industry, and what would be the best course to equip myself with. I am considering copywriting. Would this complement my qualification, and lastly what kind of companies must I target for employment. Help please
