Cheering Madiba as he turns 93 years old

In partnership with the Department of Basic Education, the Nelson Mandela Children's Fund and LeadSA the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) joined hands with fellow South African (SA) citizens in singing a 'Happy Birthday' song. In honour of this iconic man, the SABC and its partners were aiming to achieve history that will be written in the Guinness Book of Records for having had the most people singing a birthday song to an individual, all at the same time.
