Ronald McDonald House Charities launches at Bara

Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) will launch its first two Family Rooms at Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital on 27 November 2013. The Family Room is located within the hospital, near the paediatric and intensive care units that enables the families of sick children to remain close by.
The rooms at the hospital will be solely for the use of mothers with children in the neonatal ICU and neonatal ward. The rooms will serve 140 mothers on a daily basis. RMHC is a global NPO aimed at creating, finding and supporting programmes that directly improve the health and well-being of children. It opened in South Africa in April 2012.
